The Design behind this Styled Wedding at Early Mountain Vineyards

Inspiration

This entire shoot was designed with the Sistine Chapel in mind from color palette to our story board. I wanted to capture the visceral sensuality inherent in a wedding touched by the divine–bound by nature. Fortunately for me, Jo, of Photography By Jo, perfectly understood my vision and was integral in bringing it to life.

The Venue: Early Mountain Vineyards

I don’t know if there is a better backdrop for this lush painterly wedding than Early Mountain Vineyards. Surrounded by grapes on the vine and the Blue Ridge Mountains, a styled shoot at Early Mountain Vineyards was just the ticket!

The Florals: Design by Cedar & Lime Co

There are not enough words to describe how integral the florals were to create the world of this wedding. Haley and her team absolutely killed using sumptuous blooms mixed with fruits like pomegranates and blood oranges to mimic the brush strokes of a painting.
