Better late than never, I always say! This week on the blog I want to catch you up on everything happening here at Lemon Drop, though this blog would have been better suited for last week, I couldn’t miss any opportunity to share with you my tour of Hazy Mountain Vineyard and Brewery. This new year has brought with it so many wonderful opportunities both professional and personal!

I have been fortunate enough this last month to begin heading two styled shoots that will take place this Spring. What is a styled shoot? So glad you asked. A styled shoot is a collaborative project between vendors that allows us to stretch our creative muscle and maybe set a couple of trends along the way. They are a wonderful way to showcase our talent and aesthetic. You know those dreamy tablescapes and florals you’re always pinning on Pinterest? They are probably from styled shoots! I am thrilled at the opportunity to work with two amazing venues, The Estate at River Run and Hazy Mountain Vineyard and Brewery, and incredible photographers (I will link to their websites below).

A Personal Note

On a personal note, I am planning two birthday parties for the most magical of creatures, my daughters. My eldest will turn three this month and my baby will be one in March! I’m not crying you’re crying. Time is moving so quickly and I cannot believe how much they have grown. Peanut is begging to ride the bus and start preschool and Marshmallow climbs stairs and talks! They need to stop it. The husband and I are trying to make time for each other as he continues working on his PhD and I grow my business. Intentionality is the name of the game this year.

With that, I want to urge you to do the same in your professional and personal lives–be intentional. Living with purpose and consideration for yourself and those around you will foster a contentedness and harmony.
