These past few weeks have been a whirlwind as I pick up speed for next season, but now as I sit here, the world has quieted. As Thanksgiving approaches and the Holiday season kicks off, I have no meetings scheduled or emails I have to send (well, none that can’t wait a couple of days). There is time for reflection and family.

I want to reflect on the things that I am the most thankful for this year. There are honestly too many to count, but here are a few:

• Babies: I gave birth to my second daughter, and she is effervescent joy incarnate. Her and her big sister are my whole world.
• Spouse: My wonderful husband and all the extra care and time he takes with our littles.
• Business: The chance to do what I love, and still put my family first in all things. What a blessing!
• Family and Friends: There are no words for how much your love, support, and time mean to me and my family.
• Happy Home: I am thankful that we’ve made a home here in Charlottesville.
